After graduating from Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia, and serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve, I pursued a twenty-year business career that culminated in my becoming division president of an international company headquartered in New York.

     Before relocating to Anna Maria Island in 1991, I owned and operated a men’s and women’s retail apparel business with three locations in Huntington and Charleston West Virginia.
